Dr. Gautam Singh

Born in Delhi I pursued my initial education in Delhi Public School, Delhi, Sindhya School, Gwalior, M.P and New Era High School, Panchgani, Maharashtra. Where I was the sports Captain of the school for two years. I got tenth rank in Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University All India entrance examination for the seat of MBBS. I cleared my MD Internal Medicine from Rajiv Gandhi University and Health Sciences Karnataka in first attempt. I worked at the post of Intensivist at KLES Hospital and Medical Research Center. I completed my training (awaiting exams) in Interventional Cardiology in Jan ’09 at Batra Hospital and Medical Research Center. During my tenure I was awarded by Dr Charian 1st Prize in All India ECHO conference held at Channai in 2007. Now I am working as a Consultant Cardiology at Shri Ram Singh Hospital & Heart Institute. I intend to pursue my dreams and continue to grow in Cardiology.

I did my schooling in Panchgani-Maharashtra and my MBBS in Pune. While in Pune, I was a member of the Baha’i Regional Youth Committee, where I organised multiple youth conferences, winter schools, summer schools, teaching projects, all in view of empowering the youth to create a better tomorrow. When I was doing my MD in Belgaum, Karnatak, I was a member of the Baha’i Local Spiritual Assembly who overlook and plan spiritual programs like prayer meetings, study circles, children’s moral education classes, junior youth empowerment programs, and many other such activities through which we spread moral education, values, unity, and love and prepare for a better world.

Following that, I shifted to my hometown Delhi where I was a member of the Lotus Temple managing committee which overlook the functioning and maintenance of the Baha’i Lotus Temple. bahaihouseofworship.in

I conducted children’s morals classes at my home every Sunday, for 3 years, where we had 35 children from the neighbourhood coming in and learning and exploring moral values and education. These children have now grown up to be lovely youth!

I am also a trustee of the Baha’i Literature and Publication Trust, that publishes Baha’i and spiritual text in various Indian languages to cater to every state. bahaipublishingtrust.in

I am a trustee of the Bahai charitable trust that supports under privileged and financially weaker families for higher education. Along with this, I am separately running a formal inclusive school in Greater Noida that caters to the lower class of students and children with special needs where high class education is given at an affordable cost in the hope of educating as many children as possible. gradsinternational.in

My goal in life is to be of service to mankind, and to spread love and moral education to as many people as I can.

Training

The three years intensive training for DNB Cardiology included working at Batra Hospital and Medical Research Centre, Delhi. During the period of intensive care training I have worked under supervision in the Department of Cardiology (Dr. D.N.Grover DM), Department of Interventional Cardiology (Dr. Rajiv Bajaj DM, Dr Rajiv Agarwal DM, Dr Sanjeev Sharma DM), Department of Non-InvasiveCardiology (Dr. Asha Rani Khanna DM), Academic Presentations and Classes (Dr. Rajiv Bajaj and H. S. Rasham DM)

Teaching Responsibilities

I was regularly conducting one bedside clinic per week and Twice a week bedside case discussion with the DNB Medicine trainees. Five days a week teaching classes, which included journal clubs, seminar presentations, case discussions, ECG and ECHO discussions. Daily bedside case discussion.
